My 4yo already had a tricycle that he loved, but this one has helped him learn to transition from the trike to the bike. Learning to balance isnt quite so difficult, plus the fact that its light in weight makes it a little easier too (not even remotely as heavy as the metal bikes with training wheels). It took a few times to get used to it, but now he loves it. And if he's happy, I'm happy! -- Great transitional learning bike
This is the best one I have found, My son is 2 and he is short, he can reach the pedals on this one because they are in the middle instead of at the front wheel, this also helps him with stopping. Assembly required but very easy, if you find it hard just remember that the back wheels are made for use a tricycle or a bike beacuse they can slide in and out when you unlock them, make sure when assembling the handle bars and front wheel that the plastic parts that require screws are in palce before tightening. -- Best bike
Although others have given the Trike2Bike a negative review, there is absolutely nothing negative to be said of it. Rather than having a flaw in the design, those who have given negative feedback have evidently done so with a flaw in their thinking.

We got the Trike2Bike for our 3 year old grandson who is 38 inches tall and weighs 32 pounds. He didn't just get on it and ride across the room. We had to first teach him the proper way to put his weight against the pedals so that the Trike2Bike could be maneuvered forward. It took less than a half hour of our time and he was able to ride it down the sidewalk almost like an old pro.

If you are fortunate enough to get one of these bikes for your little one, do so knowing they weren't born with some magical ability to pedal. Encourage them to keep at it and they'll get there! -- Not a Flaw to be Found
