this toy has got so much going on. kids can really grow with it. I've had it since my son was about six months old, he is now two and he has played with it since. It has fun music that plays and everything they touch has something educational to say. It's hard to get bored with it because you can change the setttings and everything does something different. I wouldn't say my kid was mesmerized by it, but it's definately not going anywhere for a long time. -- Great toy
My 18mo boy has been playing with this everyday he gets since he was 12mo. The legs on it are easy to take on and off, so its easy to take with you. We use this toy in his room which is carpeted. Now that he is older he likes to flip the table, he is truly an engineer and likes to figure things out. He tries to get on top of it flipped over and rides it like a sled, and likes to try to get the legs out and then put them back in their pre cut holes.
I know the phone is not connected to the table, but I actually like this because now my son can take the phone with him. We take it into the living room, into the car and even to Grandma's.
I agree that the computer lid does not snap down hard just loud. My son loves to open and close the lid and has never acted in any pain by doing so. My son has also found the purple "mode" button and likes to switch from mode to mode quickly. Its annoying but I'm glad he can choose his mode, He usually sticks to the music mode which is fine by me!
I am very happy with the table. My kid loves it and I highly recommend it. -- Love it, lots of uses.
I bought this table when my son was 7 months. He could not stand at that time, so i removed legs and gave him the top. It was a hit!!!Even my 3 y old played with it for a week or so. Then when my son learned how to stand up around 8,5 i put legs back and it was perfect place to practice his new skill. Now he is 10,5 month and learning how to walk. We have hardwood floors and he can push this toy and walks with it. He plays with it everyday and never gets boring. It has several modes so you always can switch to something new! When i was shopping for this kind of toy i choose between this one and leapfrog. I always check toys on [...] before buying and found that leapfrog has score high( bad) and fisher-price-low (good). This is very important because all toys end up in his mouth. -- GREAT TOY!!!! RATED ON [...]
We got this as a baby shower gift and my son has played with it for up to an hour every day from the time he was 4 months old and could sit propped up in his boppy or a bumbo chair (we had the legs off and propped it in front of him). He is almost 12 months old now and still plays with it every day. It's his favorite toy and worth its weight in gold! We're about to buy one as a baby shower gift for friends who are expecting. The quality is great and the batteries don't wear out quickly. We most frequently use the "music time" setting because the noises last longer (tunes instead of just one word). We also set it up with just two legs sometimes, so it's angled towards him as he's sitting down.
-- My son plays with this EVERY day
My 7-month old absolutely adores this table. Unfortunately, however, her favorite thing to do is slam shut the computer screen, and she has crushed her fingers in the back ("hinge") area of the computer several times (which, unlike the front and sides of the computer, is small enough to painfully pinch tiny fingers when closed). We've ended up taping the monitor shut. She does enjoy playing with the rest of the table too (especially the piano) and hopefully once her hands get a little bigger, we can put the computer part back in use. -- pinched fingers
